Osteopathy Fees, Medical Insurance and NHS

goc-2773There are three ways to fund your Osteopathy treatment.

Self-funded Osteopathy Fees

Your initial consultation which also includes the taking of your personal case history is £45.00.  All subsequent treatments are £40.00.

Each appointment for osteopathy is 45 minutes.

Payment can be made by cash, cheque or BACS Transfer.

Osteopathy Private Medical Insurance

Many private health insurance policies provide cover for osteopathic treatment.  Often a referral from your GP is required prior to the course of treatment commencing.  Please check your medical insurance policy or call your insurer for confirmation of their claim process.

Currently, mainly due to the current economic climate, access to osteopathy on the NHS is limited, however services are becoming more widespread as commissioning authorities recognise the benefits of providing Osteopathy to patients.  To find out if NHS treatment is available in your area, please speak to your GP or contact your local Primary Care Trust (PCT).  For more information on who to contact in your region, please visit the NHS website at www.nhs.uk.
